Job Title/Position: IT Support Specialist
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Information Technology Support Specialist acts as liaison between end users and SaaS providers, maintains hardware & software inventories, provides 7x24 remote support to end-users via phone/email/VNC, supports, monitors, tests and troubleshoots hardware and software issues pertaining to local and network based applications, performs backups of system data, assists the Director of IT and all management teams.
If selected for an interview, be prepared to demonstrate your abilities by physically troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and/or configuration issues, describing your thought processes in determining the differences, and providing resolutions to same.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Potential candidate must have a minimum 3-5 years experience supporting both local and remote users in a Microsoft networking environment.
- Be proficient with the Microsoft Office 2007 Suite of applications as well as Dell desktop and laptop equipment.
- Position will be based at the Corporate Office in Altoona with travel to branch offices as directed.
- The applicant must pass a criminal background check and adhere to HIPAA compliance laws at all times.
- Knowledge of and commitment to hospice philosophy of care.
- Hospice experience preferred.
